]]> http://marmelodian.com/news.html#11 Fri, 23 Jul 2010 00:00:00 -0700 Spiritually Uplifting Music and Songs by Martha Maria - MARMELODIAN - News Hymns My Mother Sang http://marmelodian.com/news.html#10  Summer, 2010:   Lately, I've been rediscovering a sense of family and place, recording some of the old Christian hymns from the little Cumberland Presbyterian Church I attended as a child.  I have recorded my favorite, "For the Beauty of the Earth,"  as well as that sweet old hymn "Ere I Sleep."  Both of them are on my music page.  Other hymns that are on my list?  Farther Along, Amazing Grace, In the Sweet By and By, What a Friend We Have in Jesus, Jesus Loves Me, and one for my father, who was not Presbyterian, but who loved the Mormon hymn All is Well.  If you have a suggestion for a hymn you'd like for me to record, you can drop me an e-mail at marmelodian@marmelodian.com
