The End of Days
With the Gulf oil spill, earthquakes, floods, torrential rains in my home state of Tennessee and elsewhere, unending wars and rumors of war, and Mayan doomsday prophesies, it can feel like the end of days.
What can we do but try the best we can, every day, to live in the light of the Golden Rule, be kind to one another and remember we're spiritual beings having an earthly experience.

The signs are clear
For those who know the clues
Chaos and turmoil
Rumors of war
Earthquakes and floods
Wildfires and storms
Hunger and plagues
These are the days
The Bible said
This old world would end this way

It's not too late
Repent don't be a fool
It's not too late
Jesus has a place for you.
